Shruti is passionate about studying how Social Sciences and Architecture are intertwined and her work has been a blend of Architecture and Journalism. She has been previously associated with BBC South Asia Bureau, CNBC TV-18, Sakal Times and Paprika Media Group. She has explored the subject of Architecture Journalism through reporting on civic issues, interviews of eminent architects, activists and bureaucrats, making films, teaching and research. Shruti holds a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from University of Pune and Masters Degree in Mass Communication from Symbiosis International University.
Poorva is an architect, environmental designer, educator and author of articles and research papers on the practice of Environmental Design and Management. With an experience of 22 years, she has spearheaded the syllabus structuring for Masters program in Environment Architecture, University of Pune and also headed the Program at BNCA, till 2012. She was among the first few to get qualified as LEED AP and GRIHA Evaluator and Trainer in India. She is also enabled as a facilitator for Global Reporting Initiative, Amsterdam. Poorva has served as an Environment and Energy expert on various Boards and Committees at local and National level. She is a Graduate from Pune University
With a deep interest in city and regional planning, Shruti is currently associated as an Assistant Professor of Planning at the College of Engineering, Pune. With a bachelor's in Architecture from Pune University and a master's in Urban and Environmental Planning from Arizona State University, Shruti has over 8 years' professional experience working in India and USA. She has been associated with private consulting firms, NGOs and academic institutions including HCP Design and Project Management in Ahmedabad, VK:a architecture and Janwani in Pune in the past.
